So far I'm happy with this vacuum for the portability. I needed something lightweight to carry up and down stairs. I like that it's compact since I have little space to store it. I like the swivel, and how easy it is to maneuver corners and under low furniture. However...this thing is so freaking LOUD. Due to the fact that the vacuum fan is at the top of this vacuum by the handle, if you are short....the thing pretty must just blows your eardrums right out. My ears ring after I use it, like I've just been on a Tarmac. It should come with its own ear protection. :-/

Easy to use though harder to steer in a straight line. Well, we can't have everything. Does a really good job of cleaning along the wall, furniture, kitchen base cabinets where my husband has a tendency to drop stuff. He has poor eye sight and doesn't realize how much hits the floor or comes in on the soles of his shoes and this vacuum takes care of it well. Much easier to use than my other vac which was a canister and was hard to pull around. It was 10 times as expensive as the Shark and now has a home with my son and daughter-in-law.

• I just bought this item and found it to be what most everyone said it would be. A great little vacuum in that it cleans very well. Its great for under beds, wood or tile floors too. I like that this model has the LED lights in the nozzle ( the head) which helps illuminate dark areas too me a real plus. I dont think the other models have that feature.
  The head swivels around small spaces. Like I used it around the bathroom to pick up hair and such around the toilet and it fits easily around those small areas. I really bought this for my RV as I needed a small yet powerful cleaner and this one is perfect for that. with one step you can detach the nozzle and have just the wand if you want to change over quickly to vacuum the ceiling ect.

• I must admit that this is my first Dyson, and I have no regrets on the purchase. For this purchase, I researched online to see what typical customers of Dyson had to say about the products and most tend to love their Dyson. There are also several reviewers online that go through bagged vs bagless and why Dyson is a waste of money. Those opinions weighed heavily on whether or not I wanted to purchase a Dyson (especially since it was much more than I have ever paid for a vacuum previously). My previous vacuum was a Hoover Deluxe Elite Rewind. It did a decent job (I thought) at keeping the carpets clean, but once we moved into our home (over 50% tile/hardwood), it became an annoyance to have to sweep and vacuum.
